We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Your information is not for sale.
Your activity data is processed and stored locally on your device by default, ensuring maximum privacy.
We never collect passwords, private messages, or sensitive form data. We only track what's necessary.
To provide you with meaningful insights and productivity tools, Resight collects certain types of activity data:
We track the domains you visit and the time you spend on each to calculate your productivity scores and focus metrics. We do not store the content of the pages you visit.
If enabled, Resight tracks the specific videos you watch to offer deeper media consumption insights, including video titles, channel names, and watch time.
We maintain a list of sites you have chosen to block or filter to enforce your productivity rules.
We track local documents and PDFs opened in the browser to provide metrics on your reading habits, including document titles and time spent.
If enabled, Resight tracks your Discord activity including servers, channels, and time spent. We DO NOT read, store, or track the content of your Discord messages.
If enabled, Resight tracks usage of AI prompts (from platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to provide insights on your AI interactions. We DO NOT collect or store the actual content of your prompts.
Flows let you group sites (e.g. Work, Research, Social) to understand how your time is distributed across categories. Flow data is derived from your existing browsing activity — no additional information is collected.
Scroll Anchor enforces scroll limits on feeds like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. It only counts scroll actions to trigger a pause — it does not read, store, or transmit the content of your feed.
All your activity data is processed and stored locally on your device by default.
You can optionally sync your Resight data directly to your own Google Drive. Your data is stored in your personal Drive account — we do not have access to it. This is an opt-in feature and requires granting Drive access via Google OAuth.

Resight ensures your data is backed up and synced in real-time through specific triggers:
When a browser window is closed, all accumulated activity data for the day is pushed.
Closing the last tab for a domain triggers a sync for that specific activity.
When the extension is suspended or browser shuts down, a complete push is performed.
